Thanks Sir,

No issue that you investigated the people the current AG defended

That’s the way it should be in civilised country. Hope you agree

Having read the fine article, I cannot for the life of me see the point of this term "extremism". Most of what it seems to cover is already criminal. Violent terrorism, for instance.

I can only suppose that they adopted the term "extremism" to suggest that anyone whose opinions differ from the government's is just as bad, in some way, as a terrorist.

But of course that is quite untrue. Indeed, one of the best aspects of British culture has always been our tendency to express and tolerate "extreme" opinions.

"Sticks and stone may break my bones,

But words can never hurt me".

Trust me - they really can't.

Well observed as ever, I fear that while the ducks we all see are wearing the camouflage of “we are not the drones you are seeking” with their human rights badges and religious hatred coats on the system will fail the increasing number of victims.

Whilst the clamour to call out far right groups and policies as the growing threat, the reality of calling out the real and evidenced threat is still something the establishment will choke on as it doesn’t identify with their leftist multiculturalism beliefs.

Even when they can see it’s failing and they can see the beast of the silent majority stirring there is still a reluctance to consider they are wrong or need to try a different track for fear of being called out at the dinner parties and functions they attend with the so called leaders of the communities actively dividing society by their actions.

Let’s hope Jarvis calling them out a bit will give some the chance to propose the idea that “duck season” is something worth perusing.

Couldn't the powers that be look the problem directly in the eye and just acknowledge the statistics regarding Islam and the Muslim extremists? Then they could form useful and practicable anti-Islam-takeover policies. We've all had our fill of perusing the knots they tie themselves in to evade accepting the facts. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck .... 🦆🦆🦆

Sadly in their case, it's a 🦩

That would involve sensible use of available Intel and evidence! What are you thinking? 😁

Until there’s a framework and legislation and funding and staffing and training … to provide a mechanism for identifying, referring, and potentially incarcerating those individuals in society who represent the extreme tail ends of the neurodivergent and/or psychopathic and/or dangerously anti social people in society, we’ll get more Axels.

There’s an opportunity in the updating of the Mental Health Act.

Jarvis has now made enemies. Hidden, secret enemies within the blob. Watch the vitriol and poison start to seep out targeting him. Watch the DT and Times editorials. Watch Ministers start to slowly slip away from his back.

The whole spring highlights again that the HO and whole establishment has simply no idea or grasp of the real world. They are fundamentally unable and unwilling to even state the merest possibility that they may be wrong and or another perspective holds value.

You can see why Reform and Trump find traction. It's in the pompous hubris of the established elites who refuse to accept even a shred of responsibility and blame for the predicament they face.

I find it increasingly difficult to hold even a modicum of sympathy.

Suspect Jarvis is made of slightly sterner stuff and doesn't care. Well, you'd like to think so.

Sorry, missed the comment. The simple answer, in my view, is politics.
