I’m Dominic Adler. I’m a writer - fiction, mainly, but I was also a copper for 25 years. My Substack predominantly, but not exclusively, concerns policing.

UK Policing’s a mess; one entirely of the UK’s own making. I’m interested in why that is. I also write about the Job from the perspective of a lowly detective constable who worked in some niche areas of policing.
